I got in my steps:)
I did have a bowl of very hot clear broth made of soy, sea weed, leeks, and water this evening.
I was having a pain in my back most of the day that I wasn't sure was a muscle spasm or a kidney problem. this evening I was hungry and I know drinking something hot would relive the pain for a bit if it was a muscle spasm. I know I was only suppose to eat raw food but I really didn't want to wait 24 hours to find out if the pain was from my kidney or not. 24 hours for me can mean the difference between drinking cranberry juice to fix the problem or 2 weeks of antibodies.
The soup only had 50 calories and my calories for the day were less than 200 so I didn't have a problem having a meatless broth to settle my worries about what was going on. The soup relived the pain so I know it was only a muscle spasm. It also gave the enough energy to get in a great workout. :)
Next week I'll have to be careful with my calorie intake and where it is coming from so I don't just regain everything I lost this week. I'm thinking a few days of around 1000 calories should help my body bound back to having more than a few hundred calories a day. I'll be keeping mostly raw foods but adding in lean meats (cooked), hot soup, and my lemon water.
The heart monitor proved that yes I am not getting my heart rate to high during my workouts but is drove me crazy having the strap around my chest during my workout. I thought it was just a watch type band I would be wearing. I didn't realize there is also a band I have to around my chest. It's not easy keeping a chest band in the correct place when you have a large chest. I'm going to try and see if I can return this one and find one that is just on the arm and not strapped around my chest.
That's all for tonight folks :)
It's time for me to get some wonderful sleep :)
You did it!!! You know no matter what comes out of it on the scale this next week one thing you have to be proud of is that you made it through! Perhaps just knowing how strong you really are will help on this journey more then anything! Great idea to ease back in, keep a tight watch on the calories this week.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'd want a heart monitor around my chest either, I couldn't even do a pedometer because my belly is so round it kept rolling down lol...the bodymedia fit is the only thing that doesn't seem to bug me...I sometimes forget I'm wearing it and worry that I'll step into the shower with it on! Have a healthy day!
A heart monitor without a chest-band would be nearly worthless
