Got in our walk and then the kids and I ended up staying outside playing ball with some of the other kids in the neighborhood.
It's spring brake for the local school kids so there were lots of em out today :)
I'm so glad I'm taking the time to get back in shape. Today I was able to run after the ball, try to catch it (even got it a few times) and throw the balls around with the kids for around an hour without getting so tired and out of breath that I had to stop early.
I did ok with my meals today but not great. My calorie intake was a bit low but after last night I'm thinking that's not such a bad thing. It will all een out in the end.
I did have an ice cream cone for breakfast...300 calories not bad calories wise but not real healthy...but lots of calcium :) gotta find the positive in everything ....it helps to keep my mind from getting overwhelmed and coming to a stall. For me if I get overwhelmed it can take days, weeks, months, or even years to get started again. I have to be careful when I run into a bump and chose if I need to go over it, around it, or just straight through it. If I know I have already reached my limit of stress from bumps sometimes it's best for me to just let it go for a bit till I know I can handle getting through things without causing my head to become overwhelmed and shutting down for a bit.
back to my meals :) I do tend to ramble at times :)
I didn't have a morning snack....I didn't plan my meals today so it had an effect on what I did eat.
For lunch I wasn't hungry ( still a bit of tummy ache from the ice cream) but knew I needed to eat something so I had a handful of peanuts.
By the time dinner rolled around I was feeling better and opened to refrigarator to decide what to cook and the vegs were looking yummy calling my name so I made a stir fry with turkey breast ( Few weeks ago I cooked a whole turkey and put meat chunks in the freezer for when I wanted em. Dark meat and white meat in seperate bags), garlic, olive oil, summer squash, and spinach. Served it on top of a bed of lettuce and cucumber and 1 tablespoon of Olive oil and balsamic organic vinaigrette. It was filling and yummy to me! and only 273 healthy calories
I did drink a LOT of water today...I stopped counting at 100 ounces
my total calorie intake has only been 837 for the day so I will be eating some lettuce with cucumber and a bit of the dressing after I finish my blog. I went ahead and logged in the food so I can have my numbers for the day.
I did reach my goal steps today. :)
We did get in a brisker walk today but it didn't get high enough to get to the VA range.
Here's my numbers for today

Getting ready for tomorrow. have an early AM appt but I'm gonna try to get up early enough to get in my morning biggest loser workout before hand.
The current biggest loser challenge I'm working on ends on Thursday. I haven't reached all of my goals but I have gotten stronger! And....:) I can put on an xl shirt without it being to tight around my tummy again :) Yeah! I can feel muscles in my arms, legs, back, and stomach that I haven't felt in a very long time. My kids are happier and so am I. My hubby even said he was starting to be able to tell I"[m starting to get smaller. :)
I still really can't see any difference. But I can feel the difference and I can tall that my clothes aren't as tight. :)
Everyone keep up the great work..... and always remember
If YOU can dream it, if YOU can think it, YOU CAN DO IT! :)
Mary, so glad you had a great day! Make sure you eat that lettuce and cucumber with dressing :) GREAT burn today! I'm so glad we both had a good day after a weekend of ups and downs lol. I haven't done my biggest loser workout in a minute (mine is for wii) I might get that out tomorrow if the walk doesn't work out for some reason! Yay for great days!
