We got in our walk but I didn't get in any toning exercises other than wearing my wrist weights.
We make the walk a rather brisk one and actually logged 5 minutes of VA time :)
Some of the places on our walk has little cul-de-sec that are not very long....about 3 houses on each side of the straight part and then 4 around the circle at the end. Today for the first time I was able to jog from the start of the cul-de-sec to the circle around the circle and back to the starting point without stopping :)
Yay me!
Only draw back was by the time I got back to the stopping place my head was pounding with the type of headache I only get when my thyroid med is a bit high.
I did manage to jog down the 2nd one but then had to stop due to the feeling my head might just blow up any moment.
Not wanting to make the headache last longer I decided it was best to not do my biggest loser workout and to drop back down to the half dose of my meds. I was thinking it was an early warning sign to me that my thyroid levels were getting a bit high. Turns out I most likely was right. I was wide awake all last night. (another warning sign that my levels are to high)
Also because I ended up taking a nap for several hours Saturday afternoon. Finally around 6 am I just laid down and closed my eyes ...around 6:30 I looked at the clock and I told myself I was going to just lay here thinking relaxing things till I heard someone else getting up or until I fell asleep. It worked as several hours later I woke up rested and ready to go. I didn't take my pill Saturday night and again on Sunday morning as I didn't want to have to deal with the mind blowing headaches that come with taking my full dose of thyroid med for very long.
I didn't manage to get in all of my steps but I was still able to manage eating less than I burned :) only by 423 calories but a deficit none the less :)
